When a major soft drink
manufacturer approached us for a motivation program to help their Restaurant
Sales team close new business fast, we had the solution. PSG offered a
single-load, stock Visa gift card overprinted with the company logo, as an
efficient and memorable means of motivating the prospective
buyer.
The Solution
As sales people worked
with a new prospect, the offer of a high-dollar promotional gift card was
presented as a signup incentive. For buyers who signed with the company that
day, incentive funds were available for ATM cash withdrawal or purchase use the
very next business day, creating a strong call to action behind the signup
offer.
The Result
Since the reward program
was a previously unexplored pilot campaign, the client was hesitant to invest in
a large number of customized cards prior to launch - an issue easily solved with
a stock plastic card, overprinted with the sponsor company logo and "Thank you"
messaging. The on-hand plastic facilitated a swift program ramp-up, meeting the
client's desired launch timeline and the use of a customized card carrier for
presentation and custom messaging gave the signup incentive an upscale
feel.
