The Challenge

A national restaurant chain's HR department approached PSG for ideas on rewarding employees for different activities such as:

• Managers: meet store sales targets
• Wait-staff: sales of gift cards during holiday season
• All employees: meet online training success goals

The need for an internal incentive program was immediate, as a pending management meeting required human resources to announce the new reward opportunity one week from our initial performance improvement program consultation.

The Solution

RewardTrax to the rescue!

PSG's flexible online points-for-prizes platform RewardTrax enabled the new merchandise award catalog to be ready for demonstration at the management meeting. Applauded as the perfect solution to motivating and rewarding the different types of employees who would be eligible for the promotion, RewardTrax offered "something for everyone" at a range of price points. Additionally, RewardTrax allows the client to add and delete participants as well as issue award points as they are earned, real-time.

The Result

The ongoing promotion structure provides employees with a great way to access the rewards they want when ever they have reached a sufficient point account value; the "Wish List" feature allows them to track progress toward a selected goal and creates a psychology of motivation that benefits the program sponsor as well as their own interests.
